Curling action underway at Art Hauser Centre

The National Junior Curling Championship is underway at the Art Hauser Centre. The first draw got underway at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.

None of the Saskatchewan teams were in the morning draw.

The competitive action saw Trygg Jensen’s Yukon rink against Tyler Tardi’s British Columbia-based rink. The game ended when the Yukon rink conceded after eight ends with a final score in that one 10-2 for B.C.

Desmond Young and his rink from Alberta are 1-0 after they were able to beat Greg Blyde and his rink from Newfoundland and Labrador by a score of 8-6.
