Crusaders fall to Meadow Lake in finals

The Carlton Crusaders senior boys finished as the runners up in their home tournament. They won all their games heading into the finals, but were defeated 67-57 by the Carpenter Spartans from Meadow Lake.
The Crusaders finished on top of their pool by beating the Meath Park Mustangs 80-32 and the Melfort Comets 71-33 on Friday. They then beat the Weyburn Eagles 70-50 in the A-side semifinals to advance to the big dance.
The St. Mary Marauders finished in second on the C-side draw. They beat the V.C.A Lions 76-64, but then lost out to the Birch Hills Marauders 87-62 in the finals.
