Former Minto has big night over Titans

Nov 7, 2018 | 9:22 PM

The Saskatoon Quakers (11-2) came away with a 10-1 victory over the Prince Albert Titans (1-12) Wednesday at the Kinsmen Arena.

Jordan Hudson scored four goals in the game for the Quakers.

Former Prince Albert Minto Cole Young also had a great night. He had a four-point game complete with two goals and two assists.

Young’s was one of four former Mintos playing for the Quakers, with the others being Ethan Rheaume, Turner Rea, Kyle Gray.

The Titans did have one moment of brilliance in the second period. Rookie Tanner Hendriks stormed down the wing, faked like he was going to fly behind the goal and instead delivered a behind-the-back pass to Ashton Morin, who jammed it in the short side.

The Titans play their next three games on the road, Sunday against the Saskatoon Royals, Nov. 14 against the Delisle Chiefs and Nov. 16 against the Saskatoon Westleys. Their next home game is on Nov. 18 against Fort Knox, 2:30 p.m. at the Kinsmen Arena.
