Carlton students make a bloody mess

Oct 26, 2012 | 5:11 PM

Students of David Zulkoskey's Grade 9 Drama class made quite the mess during fifth period.

As part of a unit on stage make-up, the class was making severed hands.

The process started with the students painting their arms with layer after layer of latex, which resulted in a glove-like casting that capture all the fine details of their hands including fingerprints.

The hands are then stuffed and made up to look bloody, mutilated and lacerated giving students what Mr. Zulkoskey called a fun hand-out to remember his class by.
