More names added to ballot

There is one more name in the hat for this fall’s civic election in Prince Albert.

City Councilor Ted Zurakowski is announcing his intentions to run again for a council seat in Ward 8.
During his time on council Zurakowski has served on multiple boards and committees including the John M. Cuellenaere Library Board, The Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club, The City’s Housing Committee, and the Police Commission.

One of his biggest projects has been the 12 million infrastructure upgrade in the west hill.

Also announced this morning.

Rod Thomson plans to seek another term as trustee with the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division.

Thomson has been involved in a number of major projects. The Carlton Gymnasium project will be officially launched with sod turning on September 6th. Thomson also sponsored the development of semi-annual meetings with student representatives, a first for this province.
