A theft has been reported to the RCMP by the Royal Bank, whose reprsentatives say money was taken from client accounts allegedly by an employee.
Rural RCMP reported Friday they have been investigating a bank theft in Eyebrow since April 2011.
A female worker was identified, but has not been charged.
Royal Bank Saskatchewan South regional VP Andy Wolske confirmed she was caught using theft detection software.
"We had an immediate investigation, including speaking with the employee who was immediately placed on leave," he said.
RBC then reported the theft to RCMP.
"The Moose Jaw detachment is currently investigating," explained RCMP Corporal Rob King.
He said the employee's name can't be released until charges are formally laid.
