YWCA Prince Albert SMART Career and Employment Program
February 11 –May 24, 2013

What is the SMART program? The SMART Career and Employment program
is devised to assist people in obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment.

The participants will enhance their life management and personal development
skills. Each participant will earn valuable certificates and have actual on the job work experience.

A total of 16 participants will be accepted. It is open to all ages 16 and over.

 Money Management and Budgeting
 Computer skills
 Customer Service
 Safe Food Handling
 Action planning
 Conflict resolution
 Resumes
 Computer Skills
 Personality traits
 Resumes and interviews
 CPR First Aid
 WHMIS
 Positive coping skills
 Stating positive

Do I get paid to attend?
Yes – the SMART program participants will receive Provincial Training Allowance.

Where and when are classes held?
Classes are held Monday to Friday at Our House – 94-15th Street East.
