A local annual golf tournament broke their fundraising record this year in support of the Victoria Hospital.

On Friday July 11, the Emma Lake Golf Course hosted their annual ELGC Vic Hospital Foundation Charity Classic. Over 55 golfers enjoyed 18 holes on the beautiful golf course with weather cooperating.

The staff of Emma Lake Golf Course together with the golfers and local sponsors, raised a total of $10,435.00 for the Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Give a Little Life campaign. Money from this tournament will assist in the purchase of much needed equipment for the Obstetrics and Pediatrics unit in the Victoria Hospital during this year’s campaign.
