Victoria Hospital again at overcapacity

Apr 2, 2014 | 12:27 PM

The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region (PAPHR) is warning that the Victoria Hospital’s emergency room is very busy as the hospital is currently at overcapacity in its inpatient units.

The emergency department’s staff will respond to patients with serious or life-threatening concerns first.

But anyone with a non-emergency or non-urgent health concern may face a long wait before they receive treatment if they go to the emergency department.

The PAPHR is suggesting that anyone with a non-urgent case see a family doctor or go to a walk-in clinic.
