Studs and Peelers Netted $900 for Relay for Life at Hockey Tournament

Mar 22, 2011 | 6:51 PM

March 11th, 2011 night's hockey game, social, and associated draws (50/50 and Loonie Stick), were very successful. The hockey teams played to a score of 7 to 3, we enjoyed delicious food and refreshments, and the kids had a great time with all the activities — I think everybody won.

The 50/50 draw, paying out $247.50 , was won by Rich Hildebrand ; the Loonie Stick draw ( a lovely stick and $171 in loonies and toonies ) was won by Penny Herbert.

After all the bills were paid, the whole process netted us $900.12, all going to Relay For Life.

Thanks to staff in Forest Service as well as FMFP, Compliance, and other branches and their family members who worked, donated food, sold tickets, or played a good clean game.
