Raiders’ 1st overall pick gets taste of WHL before re-assignment
After getting him in a full training camp and two preseason games, the Prince Albert Raiders got a good look out of their golden boy prospect Kaiden Guhle before sending him back to the midget ranks.
As Guhle isn’t eligible for full-time WHL duty yet at 15 years old, the Raiders re-assigned him Sunday. The Raiders also re-assigned goaltender Josh Breznik. Listed at 6’5.5, Breznik did not appear in a preseason game.

The Raiders drafted Guhle first overall in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft. He played in two preseason games, registering an assist in Saturday’s 5-2 defeat to the Saskatoon Blades at the Legends Centre in Warman. He also scored a goal in the Raiders’ Intrasquad game.
