Matheletics

Sep 30, 2014 | 10:22 AM

Father Porte School in Black Lake Saskatchewan has had “Matheletics” for 3 years.

Matheletics is a computer based program that teaches and reinforces Math Skills at all levels, the students compete with themselves, each other and globally.

This year it was funded by the Prince Albert Grand Council and this past week on of the classes at Father Porte School was top 5 in all of Canada. ALL OF CANADA

These schools are limited in broadband width – we need increased bandwidth in our schools to support programs such as Matheletics.

The Educational Leadership of Director Eileen MacDonald, Principal Steve Thatcher and the teacher of the class Ms. Christine Clarke, working together to meet the needs of their students with the support of the PAGC Specialists is indeed paying off!

Eileen MacDonald would like to thank the staff for their enthusiasm on embracing new techniques.
