PAMC Canada Day Celebrations

Jun 14, 2013 | 10:37 AM

The Prince Albert Multicultural Council (PAMC) is ready to Celebrate Canada through two big, upcoming events that will highlight Canadian Multiculturalism Day and the Canada Day 2013!

First, PAMC will launch its monthly fundraising Concert Series.

Two talented, local artists, Kayleigh Smith and Josh L’Henaff, will perform at the first show on June 27th, 2013 (7:00pm at PAMC building, 1410C Central Avenue).

Future shows will focus on local talents, as well as multicultural acts from across the province.

Secondly, PAMC is once again excited to organize Canada Day 2013 Celebrations on July 1st, 2013 at the Riverbank (Dave Steuart Park) for Prince Albert and area.

Fun starts at 5:00pm.

PAMC is working hard to make this celebration bigger, brighter and better than ever.

Music, entertainment, children’s activities and fireworks will be part of the celebrations, at no cost to the public. Performers will include All Mighty Voice, Two Day Bloom, Arlette Alcock and Gloria Borja. Vendors will make available a variety of multicultural food and drinks. There will also be games and toys for children, as well as raffle prizes.

In a province as diverse as Saskatchewan, we wish to celebrate diversity and multiculturalism, which are so quintessential to Canada and being Canadian.

At Prince Albert Multicultural Council, we feel strongly that it is an important part of our mission to bring together and make links between various ethnic, religious and cultural communities in the city with events such as these.

And with this, we would like to invite you to PAMC’s Press Conference on June 24th, 2013; 12:00 noon, at the PAMC Office, to talk more of the Monthly Fundraising Concert Series and the big Canada Day Celebrations and other upcoming events.
