Farewell to Griff & Twyla!
Thursday, August 14th | 5:00 – 8:00pm at the Mann Art Gallery
We are hosting a going away pot-luck barbeque for Griff and Twyla.
BYOM (Bring your own Meat) and salad, veggies or a desert to share.
There will be a bodacious bar ($4.00 donation gratefully accepted) courtesy Gail Carlson.
As of August 29th, our Director / Curator, Griffith Aaron Baker and Gallery Educator, Twyla Exner will no longer be with the Mann Art Gallery. Baker has accepted a position as Executive Director of the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie (AGGP) effective September 1st. The AGGP has recently created a Class 'A' multimillion dollar facility in the Montrose Cultural Center in the rapidly expanding city in North West Alberta. As two of the three employees of the Mann Art Gallery, responsible for much of the prosperous growth the gallery has achieved in recent years, it is with great regrets that we bid farewell to Baker and Exner and we wish them well in their future endeavors.
Please come out and say good-bye to our popular duo. They will be missed.
