Lucy Baker School – Uniqueness in Education

Programs

Currently the school operates four on-site programs and one off-site program. All of the programs, except for the junior program, are available to the Catholic and Sask. Rivers School Divisions. The junior program in only available to students referred from the P.A. Separate School Division.

Full Time
The full time operates on a five day schedule offering a complete range of academic and life skills components with a student load of 18 individuals.

Entry Program
The entry program in scheduled twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-3:00PM with a student load of 10 students. Due to the limited time, the academics are limited to Language Arts and Math.

Junior Program
This program operates in the afternoon and is limited to 5 students referred by schools in the Catholic system.

Parent Support Program
This program is exactly as stated, it occurs on Thursday evenings and is offered to parents and guardians of the students.

Tracking
This is a service offered to the past students of Lucy Baker Alternate School. It is an informal program based on individual need (i.e. school placement to resume writing).
