Kerry Vickar Centre gymnasium shuts down

The Kerry Vickar Centre’s gymnasium in Melfort appears to be shut down until November after some issues with flooding.
Swartout Hall in the multiuse facility has been forced to cancel all bookings following the flooding in the building, one resident said the flooding was due to an issue with a fountain at the entrance.
Signs taped to the doors of the facility suggest that alternative locations will be set up for recreational groups who use the facility, but there is no word yet from the city on where those alternate locations will be set up.
Sources say this flood will not affect the other sections of the building.
