Kateri House Cannot Do Their Work Alone – How You Can Help

Jan 3, 2011 | 12:34 PM

Prayer support

We thank you for keeping us in your prayer. Please remember our ministry team, our volunteers, our donors and all whom we serve. From time to time we will post specific prayer requests. You may also use our contact form (see contact page) to send us any requests for prayer which you would like us to publish.

Financial support

If you can help us financially…
with a one-time, occasional, or regular gift…

You can do so by cheque payable to “Kateri House”; please indicate whether you wish a receipt for income tax purposes.

Your gifts will go directly to cover our day to day operation.

In addition, we are happy to accept donations for the re-building of Holy Cross Church, Sturgeon Lake SK, which was completely destroyed by fire on March 4, 2009. To donate for this  purpose, please indicate “Church Building Fund” on the memo portion of your cheque.

We depend on your donations and are very thankful for any way in which you help us.

We are also equipped to accept gifts of publicly traded securities, through CanadaHelps or through your broker dealing with our broker. Our broker is BMO Nesbitt Burns; contact information will be provided on request.  We will issue income tax receipts for charitable donations of securities.

You may also make a secure online donation by credit card. Please click on the CanadaHelps button. Your gift will be used directly to meet our ministry expenses; designated gifts will be directed according to the donor's wishes.

In any case, CanadaHelps is an excellent site to explore regarding the many dimensions of charitable giving. Click on the button to explore the site.

Donations in kind

If you wish to make a donation in kind, please contact us. We can give receipts only for those donations in kind which clearly have a market value.

Locally, we are happy to accept food donations for our Second Harvest Circle program.

Volunteers

Please phone or email us if you live in the Prince Albert area and are interested in volunteering.

We are able to accept residential volunteers for a minimum of one year. Longer term volunteering may also be a way to discern a possible life vocation to mission with First Nations communities.

Mission vocation discernment

If you believe you might have a vocation to be a lay missionary
among First Nations people
, we invite you to spend some time with us to discern this call.

Please contact us and let us know what you are looking for.
