E.A. Rawlinson Centre has Lots of Shows to Offer

MONDAY, APRIL 14 AT 7:30- J I M M Y R A N K I N – Jimmy Rankin is touring with multi-instrumentalist Jamie Robinson. “It can be a very intimate show where I’m doing ballads, more singer-songwriter stuff and very up-tempo with audience participation and people singing along,” he says. “It’s material from my solo records — I’ll be doing a bunch of material from my newest record of course — and I always love to thrown in some Rankin Family songs that people have really grown to love and expect at my shows.” (quoted from the PA Daily Herald interview, April 10).

TUESDAY, APRIL 22 AT 7:30- DEREK MILLER & SPECIAL GUESTS (RENTAL)- Guitarist and singer/ songwriter Derek Miller is a journeyman musician with eclectic taste and a knack for roots inflected rock. Born on the Six Nations of the Grand River, Mohawk Territory, in Canada, Miller became interested in music in his early teens, and by the late ’90s had not only toured with iconic Canadian vocalist Buffy Sainte-Marie but was also garnered a Juno for both his debut album, ‘Music Is the Medicine’ and sophomore album ‘The Dirty Looks’ in 2008. This concert is present by the Saskatchewan First Nations Winter Games. Check out the video link to this great blues artist!!
