Theft of Chevrolet Truck – Prince Albert

On December 01, 2010 at 0154 HRS it was reported that a 1989 Chevrolet step side 1500, Sask Licence plate 177 HRS, was taken from a residence North of Prince Albert. The owner heard the vehicle leave his residence and called RCMP.

The vehicle was later driven to the 15th street 7-11 in Prince Albert where a male purchased fuel..
On December 07, 2010 the vehicle was located on the Sturgeon lake FN being driven by a under age male.

The driver does not match the person in the surveillance video. The Police are requesting the publics help on the identity of the person responsible for taking the vehicle.

Damage – Prince Albert

Prince Albert RCMP are currently investigating extensive damage at a camp for children near Prince Albert. On August 31st at 2:28 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a complaint regarding the damage and made a patrol to the camp.

Camp Tamarack is a summer school for children and teens with learning disabilities and is located 25 km northwest of Prince Albert.

The investigation has revealed that the culprit(s) drove a camp bus around the camp area and damaged the bus after crashing it into trees and stalling the bus in some muddy terrain. The culprit(s) then went on to break into various buildings at the camp.

The damage at the camp consisted of approximately 30 broken windows, damaged doors, fence, playground equipment as well as a motor home that was part of the camp.

The damage caused is estimated to be at least $25,000.
