The Blues Bandoleros with The Five Aces Concert – PA Arts Centre

Come check out the Blues Bandoleros at the Prince Albert Arts Centre on October 9, 2014 with special guests, The 5 Aces.

The doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:00 pm. The show is an all ages event. Tickets are $10.00. Pay at the door or contact Kelly for advance tickets 306 960-2864.

The Blues Bandoleros were formed in the summer of 2013.

The band consists of the following members: Kelly Kawula (Guitar & Lead Vocals), Kirk Lester (Drums & Vocals), Mike Hodson (Harmonica & Vocals), Arthur Ashdown (Bass Guitar & Vocals) and Mick Gratias (Keyboards and Vocals). The Bandoleros members share a love for the blues and perform covers and originals at their shows. The set list includes covers by B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Santana, Colin James, Jeff Healey, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, David Wilcox, Jimi Hendrix etc.

The Bandoleros have recently played at Buds on Broadway in Saskatoon and have performed locally at Prince Albert Brewing Company and Aandie's Tavern in Christopher Lake. They have been well received at all of the shows and will be returning to Saskatoon in December 2014 for shows at Buds on Broadway and Piggys Pub & Grill. The Bandoleros are working toward playing at some blues festivals for the summer of 2015 and introducing more original blues songs to the show.

The 5 Aces consists of the following members: (from left to right in the photo) Zack Thompson (Lead Vocals), Tavin Thompson (Guitar), Kyler Wease (Drums) , Blake Kawula (Lead Guitar)and Daniel Moerike(Bass Guitar).

The 5 Aces are a classic rock band which performs covers by AC/DC, Guns & Roses, Foreigner etc.

They belong to a local program called Jam Street Music Sessions and they have weekly practices that are facilitated by Jam Street Owner, Lucy James.

The band was formed in 2012 and Blake is the newest addition and joined the 5 Aces in April 2014. They have recently performed at the Prince Albert Street Fair, the Pine Needle Festival, BEDrock Music Festival, CUPE Barbeque and the Jam Street year end concert.

The 5 Aces have a several shows coming up in the next few months and are working on new songs to add to their show.
