Karrnnel Sawitsky currently lives in Toronto, but he is a Saskatchewan boy with strong ties to Wakaw, Saskatoon, and even Humboldt (close family living here). Karrnnel has been playing the fiddle for 26 years. He started at the age of four, honing his skills with the renowned Sawitsky Family Fiddlers, led by his dad, Orest, on accordian. He has traveled many places around the world and the accolades and awards keep rolling in; his original music and style has won the critics over. Musically, Karrnnel integrates an eclectic mix of traditional fiddle styles including Canadian Old Time, Metis, Ukrainian, Norwegian, Celtic, Cape Breton, Bluegrass, Jazz, Rock, Country, and more.
