We are at the beginning of a new season & Jessy's Garden continues to grow. Karen we have been so blessed with the communities support, this year we will be planting about 5 acres.

The demand is growing, with the high grocery prices & organic becoming the norm, we plan on doubling our numbers this year. Last year we met over 100 new faces & served over 1000 families throughout the season.

We are in need of volunteers for planting & also large equipment to clear more land & trees.

Anti-Graffiti Paint Program
What is graffiti? Graffiti means any drawing, inscription, writing or other mark that disfigures or defaces any building, accessory building, fence or other structure, however made or otherwise affixed.

How to prevent graffiti? The most effective way to prevent graffiti is to remove it promptly. Studies show that removal within 24 to 48 hours results in a nearly zero rate of reoccurrence.

The Anti-Graffiti Paint Program encourages citizens to help reduce graffiti vandalism by REPORTING IT, RECORDING IT and/or REMOVING IT.

Saturday May 26th, in support of the Prince Albert MS WALK, Lou Carriere will be walking from LakeBoys RV to Christopher Lake Gas Station with his daughter.

They really are embodying our motto of "Every Step Matters"!

They will arrive in CL around 4pm where they will be having and raffling off a BBQ.

Donations can be made roadside or in advance by calling Dale Kaldor at 982-2031. Please show your support and let's Lace Up for Someone You Love!

Alright everything is a go for Saturday---The first market of the year will be from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at City Hall Parking Lot. 

We hope to see everyone there.

North Sask Organ Transplants is a newly formed support group for organ transplant recipients.

If you have recieved new lungs, liver, heart or kidneys, or are either a caregiver, spouse , or on an organ transplant wait list,this group is open to you.

The group meets once a month.

The goals of the group is to provide support and fellowship through association, also to promote organ donation through public awareness.

The Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE) are pleased to announce that they will be hosting Chris and Larry, two entreprenuers that founded Clodhoppers and were recently on the Dragon's Den making a pitch for their new candy OMGs.

They will be in Prince Albert on June 6 at the Exhibition Centre. See the attached poster for more details.

Information meeting regarding the changes to the Provincial Nominee Program will be May 29, 7PM at the Canalta Hotel Meeting Room in Tisdale.

If you are an employer or considering sponsoring a family member, there have been changes announced by the province May 1st that affect you.

Government representatives will be in attendance to explain the changes and answer your questions.
