P.A. Attack win bronze at field lacrosse provincials
Prince Albert isn’t just a box lacrosse town anymore, as the local field lacrosse teams are making a name for themselves on the provincial map.
The Prince Albert Under-16 Attack won bronze at the Sask. Lacrosse Intermediate Field Provincials over the weekend in Saskatoon. The Attack reeled in the Yorkton Fighting Pikes 7-4 in the bronze medal game Sunday to secure some hardware from the weekend.
Attack’s Kyler Wiese scored a hattrick in the bronze medal game and finished the four-game tournament with eight goals, leading the Prince Albert side. Wiese was named a tournament all-star, while Hayden Ulrikson was received a midfielder all-star award and Davin Ikert won both the defender all-star and sportsmanship awards.
